This a slightly different post, and comes from a yoga student named Andy who recently completed our Beginners' Yoga Course. At the end of the course, Andy emailed us this poem he composed about his experience of yoga at Yoga Torquay. We think its brilliant and quite beautiful....
A human, Being.
Time passes unnoticed as we lie listening to the soft guiding voice of a recent stranger, now familiar and trusted teacher.
We lie blissful in a cave of light, warm and relaxed tho’ only millimetres from a hardwood floor.
We journey with our breath, whole bodies dancing in the slowest of motions.
We are singularly focused but aware of our companions.
The outside world passes busily yet we are still and not corrupted by their racing.
We are tuned to the moment and vibrate ever so gently with ourselves and everything surrounding us, calmed, peaceful and thankful that our many life choices have brought us here, today, enlightened to the simplest of mysteries;
A human, Being.
