Yoga Nidra is a practice of listening, awareness and deep relaxation. Yoga nidra is a form of meditation and has strong links to psychotherapy and is therefore used in a therapeutic context to induce a feeling of total relaxation which can reset the body and mind, re-energise and restore creativity and vitality.
Anyone can practise yoga nidra. It can be practised lying down, or sitting and requires absolutely no physical movement at all. Yoga nidra is great for people who suffer from stress, anxiety, exhaustion, insomnia, chronic pain and other tension related conditions
