Postnatal yoga focuses on healing from the inside out. Suitable from birth to crawling. Nurturing and supporting Mums to re-charge, re-adjust, & positively embrace this new stage of life with a baby. We will ease out common aches and pains with a safe and gentle practice using movement, breath and sound to soothe baby and relax mum.

Mums can get together & share the wide range of therapeutic benefits of yoga. Breathing exercises for pelvic floor rehabilitation, sound and breath work to boost energy and deep relaxation facilitates real rest when tiredness can be overwhelming. Sharing the space and experiences with other Mums and their babies builds community and makes us stronger. All joined together with songs, sounds & movements to keep the little ones calm and entertained. Postnatal yoga can also help babies suffering from reflux, colic and other digestive issues.

Postnatal yoga classes are taught by Alice Chapman - an experienced yoga teacher with specialist training in pre and post natal yoga. Alice practised yoga through both pregnancies and births of her two children and has direct firsthand experience of the challenges faced by women at this important time in their lives and also the ways in which yoga can help. Alice has been interviewed by Devon Life and also Atmo about her approach to postnatal yoga.
